Lessons at SCS Farm in New Bloomfield:

• Traditional riding lessons​

  • $60 per lesson.

    • 45-60 minutes  

    • 1-4 riders per lesson​

    • Ages 8 and up​

    • Includes equestrain education on general horse care, handling, tacking, and more in addition to the riding. 

• Haul-in lesson, or lessons on a personal horse, at SCS Farm 

  • $50 per lesson.

    • 45-60 minutes 

    • 1-4 riders per lesson​

    • Bring your own horse for a lesson! 

• Guided introductory horseback rides

  • $15

    • 15 minutes

    • 1 participant per time slot 

    • Ages 4 and up​

    • The horse will be pre-saddled and the time slot includes an introdction to the horse, how to mount, and a guided/led ride while learning general horse kowledge. 

    • This is a great, economical option for young and first time riders. Offered most Tuesday nights through the summer.

• Horsemanship Academy- Lecture and Learning ​

  • $60- lecture & learning activities. 1 hour session.  ​

    • Ages 6 and up

    • Up to 5 students per session

    • Great opportunity to learn everything about horse ownership

    • Provides an educational experience in a climate controlled classroom with opportunitities for hands-on application.

    • A perfect learning opportunity during bad weather, in place of your traditional riding lesson.
